Abraham Abebe’s paintings reflect daily life of Ethiopia’s capital, Addis Ababa as he captures the city’s atmosphere and idiosyncrasies. Abebe’s work also reflects attention and tribute to the Meskel flower, a traditional religious icon.
Abebe earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. His paintings have been shown in Addis Ababa, United States, private collectors, among others. St. George Gallery has exhibited Abraham Abebe’s work since 2015.
