Joseph Habtemariam

Beautiful compositions using wood, sand, and paint that produces artwork reflective of Ethiopia’s traditions, religions and history, collectively echo Joseph Habtemariam’s unique paintings.

Habtemariam was born in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia and he earned his degree in Art at the Alle School of Fine Arts and Design of Addis Ababa University. He resides in Addis Ababa and his work has been exhibited in Addis Ababa and internationally. St. George Gallery has exhibited Joseph Habtemariam’s work since 2012.
