
Kibrom Gebremedhin
Inspired by ceremonial activities in churches and women dressed in ‘netela’ (a traditional dress), Kibrom Gebremedhin’s work also has interest with the daily social life expierence.
Born in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, Gebremedhin grew up in the Ethiopian Orthodox Church, and attend three semesters of Theology Course at Holy Trinity Theology Collect. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Art Education and since 2008, he has worked as a lecturer at the Alle School of Fine Arts and Design of Addis Ababa University in the department of Art Education. St. George Gallery has exhibited Kibrom Gebremedhin’s work since 2015.
