An artist inspired by Ethiopia’s women and their stories, and the country’s capital city, Addis Ababa’s urban life, both themes are seen throughout the work of Meron Ermias. Ermias incorporates bright and lively colors that keeps the viewer’s eye from leaving the work and rather, directs the viewer’s eye through the artwork.
