Yonas Degafa

Yonas Degafa’s depiction of women reflects a range of recognizable figures to figure abstraction leaving only  the essence of the female form.     

Degafa’s work draws upon Ethiopian iconography that is interwoven with his personal style that creates unique contemporary paintings of beauty that evoke emotion, strength and intrigue.

Yonas Degafa’s work is exhibited in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia and internationally.
