March is a special month for a number of reasons. The main ones being Spring begins and it is the month to recognize the achievements and contributions of women.The Alexandria Arts Forum, in honor of Women’s History Month, is hosting an Arts Reception, to honor the accomplishments and contributions of an outstanding woman in the arts in Alexandria. This year’s honorees include Saba Alene, owner of St. George’s Gallery in Old Town and Shelly Bell, Creative Director at Made by A Black Woman.
